In Spain, Day One!

Chillin' in our van from the airport in Santiago de Compostela to Sarria.

We made it to our hostel in Sarria all safe and sound, and with some time before dinner, we decided to wander around the old part of the city. Narrow, stone streets and old churches made up the neighborhood, along with a raging stream pushed to capacity from recent rains. And then the rains came back. When we got back to our Sarria home, we were soaked. No problem, though. After drying out and eating dinner, everyone got ready for 1) a full night's sleep -- heaven(!), and 2) hitting El Camino in the morning.
¡Buen Camino!

At our hostel in Sarria!

Helen teachin' the guys something important.

On the edge of a lovely garden next to an old church. (Looks like an album cover from the '70s, and Sam's the leader!)

Wandering the streets of old town in Sarria. (I think everyone in town's taking a siesta.)
