Students spent the weekend with their host families and Spanish friends. They hanged out in small groups and went to the city, had parties, and went to an amusement park. This is what Lucy did on Saturday:
“I woke up very late because of my jet lag. I then walked to the supermarket to pick up bread. It was 75 degrees outside. We then went back to the house where we met up with Brendan and Brett, and there partners, Bo and Carlos. We played foosball, pool, and darts. We then ate paella for lunch. Later, we took the metro into Madrid and hung out with the rest of the exchange group. We ate calamari sandwiches in the plaza mayor. We then went home and went to bed”.
