Romania: How Much Wood Could a Woodchuck Chuck

We started the day with our first Romanian language lesson, where we learned some common conversational phrases from"cati ani ai?" to "buna ziua." Then for most of the day, we spent our time stacking wood for the orphanage's supply for next winter. We were instructed to place the wood in a cris-cross style, which needed a lot of attention to detail. Our time stacking wood was interwoven with playing with the children here at Pro Vita! We rode bikes with the them, taught them how to play "Slide" and ran around. It was really cool how just with the bit of Romanian we learned, we were able to communicate with the kids and form some relationships within minutes of just playing. We can't wait for more adventures to come!
