ROMANIA: Back at Pro Vita

After a fun night of karaoke, we awoke rested and ready to tour more of Transylvania. Our first stop was Cetatea Rasnov. An old citadel on top of a mountain with beautiful views. The next stop was the summer home of King Carol, Peles Castle. It was lavish, ornate and slightly over the top from our usual accommodations.

We had a late lunch, or should we say feast (see picture below). En route back to Pro Vita, we stopped at a mall and Carrfour (think target, meets Walmart, meets Home Depot and pentagon city) all under one roof. The students fueled up on candy and some souviners for loved ones back home.

We are heading into our journaling time and gearing up for our last day in Romania.
