Our Saints spent a splendid day discovering the beautiful Normandy coast and learning about the history of D-day. Omaha Beach, Utah Beach and Pointe du Hoc were absolutely stunning especially with the bright sunshine! Our guide, Adrien, recounted fascinating stories of courageous men who scaled the cliffs only to find enemy soldiers peering at them. The views at Point du Hoc were "magnifique" as you can see.
