Romania: Saints Arrive at Pro Vita

After a long day of travel, our Romania scholars breezed through customs and exchanged our dollars for lei-the Romanian currency. We were then greeted by our host Mihail and jumped into our vans and headed two hours North to Pro Vita. Mihail's wife Melanie had a wonderful dinner waiting for us which included: homemade bread, cole slaw and potatoes. Following dinner, we took a walk, visited some of the children of Pro Vita, and even engaged in a friendly soccer match with the older boys. Overall, we had a great day and looking forward to beginning our work in the gardens tomorrow.
