Romania: First full day @ Pro Vita-Romania

Well it was a beautiful day here at Pro Vita. We woke up and had another full homemade breakfast before going out to work in the gardens. As Romania is thawing out from their harsh winter it is nice to be able to be part of the spring cleaning and planting. We were able to plant several trees and some rose bushes in front of several the houses here. After lunch we helped to move a plethora of wood to the carpenter to be made into furniture. After unloading 2 truck fills, we took a leisurely "walk" up a fairly steep hill. The trek was worth it, as we were able to see 3 villages at once. Numerous photo ops ensued!
During our free time in the afternoon, some students played soccer, some walked over to a neighboring village and others played with the orphans.
Dinner was delicious and has special treats of fruit and nut cake and cookies. The group then spent some quality time together playing yatzee and Texas hold em!
Tomorrow, we are looking forward to seeing 3 baptisms at an Eastern orthodox church service.
