In just over a week, seventeen SSSAS students will be walking the ancient and medieval streets of the birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence, Italy, in the footsteps of the Romans and the powerful Medici family. They will observe the great works of art from the likes of Michelangelo and Leonardo and create ones of their own at La Meridiana, a Tuscan ceramics workshop. Wow! All of that and gelato, too!
