San Salvador Bahamas Day 2
To start off our day, we drove along the beach to a snorkeling site called Rocky Point. While there, Mr. Yoder introduced us to a variety of soft and hard corals as well as a few species of fish. Although we could not swim out to the far portion of the coral due to the waves, we will go back tomorrow to begin out research of the corals.
The shallow dark spots depicted here is where we swam and observed the underwater species.
After lunch, we jumped onto the truck and drove to the nearby town. Here we shopped at the local stores and visited one of the four sites where the locals claim Christopher Columbus first landed.
