Notes from Croatia: In Split, Croatia!

We have settled into our rooms, a few of us with sweet balconies, and are now investigating the old city which is our neighborhood; Hotel Slavija sits within Diocletian's palace walls! Next up: Dinner together at a fine Croatian restaurant. Then, I think, everyone will hit the sack. It's been a long day! Tomorrow, we will be touring ancient Split and Trogir. More to come!
